    In the central part is the numeral 2, to its right is the outline of Europe, from which six vertical rays extend upwards and six downwards. Along the arc of the right edge, crossing these rays, are twelve five-pointed stars. On Europe, the inscription in English: 'EURO'. To the right below the inscription is the monogram 'LL' - the mark of the engraver Luc Luycx.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, within a circle of yellow metal, is a stylized depiction of the abbreviated name of the European Union: 'EU'. On the letter 'U' is the coat of arms of Slovakia, to its right the date in three lines: '1.5.2004-2014'. Along the circumference of the inner circle, separated by the engraver's monogram 'MP' on the right and the Kremnica Mint mark on the left, are inscriptions in Slovak. At the bottom, the name of the state Slovakia: 'SLOVENSKO'; on the left, top, and right: '10 VÝROČIE VSTUPU DO EUROPSKEJ ÚNIE', which translates to: '10TH ANNIVERSARY OF ACCESSION TO THE EUROPEAN UNION'. Around the edge of the coin are twelve five-pointed stars.
