    In the central part are three female profiles facing left. Along the lower edge is an inscription in Spanish: «HERMANAS MIRABAL», translated as: «Mirabal Sisters». In the upper part, along the edge of the coin, is text in Spanish: «CUNA DE LOS DERECHOS HUMANOS», which can be translated as: «Cradle of Human Rights». Between the inscriptions are six five-pointed stars, three on each side. The coin's edge features decorative elements in the form of dots.
