In the central part, a Northern Harrier is depicted facing left, perched on a reed with its wings lowered. To the right are the Latin letters 'AN' - the artist's mark of Arnold Nogy. To the left of the image, the mint year '2010' is placed horizontally. Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: at the top, the country name 'CANADA', and at the bottom, the inscription 'DOLLAR'.
Obverse
In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. In the truncation of the portrait are the Latin letters 'SB' - the artist's mark of Susanna Blunt. To the right and left of the portrait, the Latin inscription is split into two parts: on the right - 'ELIZABETH II', on the left - 'D∙ G∙ REGINA' (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen). Around the circumference along the rim are decorative raised dots.
