In the central part is a ula - a Fijian throwing club. To the left is the number 10, to the right is the English text: "CENTS". Decorative elements in the form of dentils are placed around the circumference.
Obverse
Along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left, the name of the British Queen Elizabeth II: "ELIZABETH II"; on the right, the country name Fiji and the year of minting: "FIJI 1997". In the central part is the right-facing profile of the Queen.
