In the central part, within a circle of silver-colored metal, a portrait of Isambard Kingdom Brunel wearing a top hat and with a cigar in his mouth, against a background of a section of the Royal Albert Bridge in London. Along the upper and lower edges, connected by a chain, are semi-circular planks with the inscription in English: 'TWO POUNDS' - two pounds and the year of issue 2006.
Obverse
In the central part, within a circle of silver-colored metal, the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II. Around the edge of the coin, divided by a dot, the inscription: 'ELIZABETH II. DEI. GRA. REG. FID. DEF.', which translates from English as 'Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God Queen, Defender of the Faith'.
