The central part features gears of a clockwork mechanism. On the left are the Moon and Sun, on the right an hourglass, and at the top a time spiral with a clock face. Along the arc of the right edge, time zones are shown with two-line inscriptions: 'TOKIO 18:10' (Tokyo 18:10), 'WIEN 10:10' (Vienna 10:10), 'NEW-YORK 04:10' (New York 04:10). At the bottom is the inscription 'ZEIT' (Time).
Obverse
Centered is a clock face; its hour hand ends in a star and its minute hand in a crescent moon. The inner circle of the dial shows the twelve zodiac signs, the middle circle has divisions in Roman numerals, and the outer circle near the rim has Arabic numerals. In the lower right part, a clockwork mechanism is depicted. Between the outer and middle parts of the dial are inscriptions in German: on the left - '25 EURO' (25 Euro), at the top - the country name 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria), on the right - the year of issue '2016'.
