In the central part of the reverse are relief images: at the bottom, a fish facing right against a water background; on the right, a reef heron standing on one leg facing left; on the left, a tree branch with foliage overhanging the water's surface. Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: at the top 'PROTECT OUR WORLD', at the bottom '5 DOLLARS'.
Obverse
Centered is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown and a necklace. In the truncation are the initials of the British sculptor Raphael David Maklouf - 'RDM'. Along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the country name 'FIJI' and the year of issue '1993'.
