In the left part, the Vienna City Hall is depicted; in the foreground, centered, is a street lamp, with a ladder leaning against it on the right; an engineer stands on the steps, turning on the light. The outer ring shows radiating light through hatching. Inscriptions in German: at the top and right along the rim, the country name 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria); at the bottom horizontally, the inscription '25 EURO' (25 Euro); below it, the year of issue '2008'.
