    The central part of the reverse features a relief image of an Atlantic salmon. Below it, the text is struck in two lines in Irish: 'FLÓRIN 2S' - Florin, 2 Shillings. Near the tail is the letter 'PM' - the designer's mark of Percy Metcalfe. The edge of the coin has a toothed relief pattern along the arc.

    The central part features the coat of arms of Ireland. To its left, the country's name in Irish is arranged vertically: 'éire' - Ireland; to its right is the year of issue: 1955. The coin's edge has relief elements in the form of teeth.
