To the left of the rectangle, the inscription in Italian: 'G.VASARI' - the name of the artist Giorgio Vasari, is arranged in a semicircle. To the right of the rectangle are the monogram 'C.M.' - the mark of engraver Claudia Momoni - and, in a semicircle, the country name in Italian: 'SAN MARINO'. Below are the years 1511-2011. Along the edge of the coin are twelve five-pointed stars.
