Along the upper edge, the inscription in Kazakh at the top and in Russian at the bottom: «ҰЛЫ ЖЕҢІСКЕ 65 ЖЫЛ» and «65 ЛЕТ ВЕЛИКОЙ ПОБЕДЫ». In the central part, a stylized depiction of the victory year "1945" illuminates symbols of victory below it: the Order of the Patriotic War, the St. George's ribbon, and a laurel branch. To the left of the composition is the inscription with the victory year "1945", to the right — with the year of issue and the anniversary date "2010".
Obverse
Along the rim, inscriptions in Kazakh: on the left «...ҚАЗАҚСТАН», on the right «ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКI...», which translate as "NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN". In the central part is the national coat of arms: a shanyrak (the upper domed part of a yurt) in the form of a cross inscribed in a circle, from which support rays radiate, flanked by mythical winged horses, tulpars. At the top, between the wings, is a five-pointed star; at the bottom is the country name "KAZAKSTAN". Below the coat of arms is the large number 50, flanked on both sides by raised national ornaments; below it is the inscription "TEҢGE", highlighted with raised dot-like elements. To the right of the coat of arms is the "ҚҰБ" mintmark of the Kazakhstan Mint.
