  • Reverse
The central part features an inscription in four lines: 15КОПѢЕКЪ1ZLOTY. The number 15 is flanked on both sides by floral rosettes. Below the inscription is the year of mintage — 1836. Along the edge of the reverse, an inscription follows the curve: ЧИСТАГО СЕРЕБРА 60 3/4 ДОЛИ (Pure Silver 60 3/4 Dolias). The rim is decorated with denticles pointing towards the center.
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by a double-headed eagle — the coat of arms of the Russian Empire. Both eagle heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is positioned between them. All three crowns are connected by a ribbon. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Surrounding the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. Heraldic shields on the wings: Left wing: Polish, Taurian, Finnish. Right wing: Kazan, Astrakhan, Siberian. In the right talon is a scepter, and below it the letter 'M'. In the left talon is an orb, and below it the letter 'W'. Together, the letters indicate the Warsaw Mint. The coin's rim consists of denticles.
