Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by a crowned double-headed eagle. On its chest is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland, under a royal crown and canopy. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter and a sword, below which is the initial 'I•'. In its left talon, an orb is visible, below which is the initial 'B•'. Together, the initials refer to Mintmaster Jacub Benik.
