    In the central part, a bust of Gleb of Minsk. To his left is a unique stone icon of the Mother of God, dating from the 12th–13th centuries, discovered during excavations of ancient Minsk. Along the arc of the left and upper edge of the coin is an inscription in Belarusian: «ГЛЕБ МЕНСКІ» - Gleb of Minsk and the years of the prince's reign: 1101 - 1119.

    In the central part, a reconstruction of the gate of the Minsk Detinets (citadel) is depicted. Below it is an inscription in Belarusian: «1 РУБЕЛЬ» - 1 ruble and the year of minting: 2007. To the left, above, and to the right along the rim is the name of the country in Belarusian: «РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ» - Republic of Belarus, separated by the small coat of arms of Belarus.
