    Along the lower edge arc, the inscription "IPELEGENG", translated as "Ipelegeng", a city in Botswana. In the central part – an image of a bull facing left. Above it, in two lines, the inscription "25 THEBE", translated as "twenty-five thebe".

    Along the coin's upper edge arc, the country name in English – "BOTSWANA". Below, the year of minting "2007". In the central part – the national coat of arms: an oval shield held on both sides by two zebras, the left one holding an elephant tusk, the right one – a stalk of sorghum. On the shield, the upper part depicts three interlocking gears, below – waves, and beneath them – the head of a domestic bull. On the motto ribbon below the shield, the inscription "PULA" translated as "rain".
