    In the central part, Harry is depicted on a hospital bed, with the house-elf Dobby on the bedside table. To the right, the English text 'HARRY POTTER'. To the left, below the image, the Latin letters 'PM'. Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: at the top 'HARRY POTTER', at the bottom in two lines '1 CROWN'.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley - 'IRB'. Around the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of issue '2002'.
