In the central part, an inscription in four lines: 1 1/2 RUBLYA.10 ZLOT• Below the inscription is the year of mintage — 1833. In the left part of the coin, along the edge, is a laurel branch, and in the right part, an oak branch. At the base, the branches are intertwined with a ribbon forming a bow. Raised dots are stamped around the entire edge of the coin.
Obverse
In the central part is the State Emblem of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle, its heads crowned with two crowns, a third, larger crown above them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Surrounding the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. On the wings are depicted the titular coats of arms: on the right — Kazan, Astrakhan, and Siberian; on the left — Polish, Taurian, and Finnish. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left — an orb. Under the right talon is the letter 'N', under the left — 'G'. The initials of Mintmaster Nikolai Grachev. The central part is separated from the rest of the design by a circle of dots. Outside the circle is the text: CHISTAGO SEREBRA 6 ZOLOTNIKOV 31 1/2 DOLY (Pure Silver 6 Zolotniks 31 1/2 Dolya) divided at the top by an eight-petaled flower. The rim consists of dots.
