    Against a backdrop of buildings and mountains, a merchant is depicted offering clay vessels displayed on a counter to a woman. In the background, girls walk by, linking arms. In the upper part, following the curve of the coin's edge, is the Latin text 'AGUNTUM' (Aguntum). The edge of the coin features elements in the form of dots.

    In the right part is the left-facing profile of Emperor Constantius II. Opposite, the gate to the craftsmen's quarter of the ancient city of Aguntum is depicted.
