In the upper and right parts of the coin, along the rim, is an inscription in Russian: "KRASNAYA KNIGA PRIDNESTROVYA" (Red Book of Transnistria), below and to the right - the name of the butterfly in Latin: "sphingidae" - hawkmoths.
