    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the head of the Statue of Liberty against a background of 4 flags: Canada, Great Britain, France, and the USA. At the top is the inscription: "1 FRANC" and the year of issue: "1993". At the bottom is the country's motto in French: "LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ" - "LIBERTY EQUALITY FRATERNITY".

    In the central part, soldiers of the US Army are depicted landing on the shore against a background of ships and aircraft.
