In the central part, the numeral 5 and a two-line inscription: 'EURO CENT' - 5 euro cents. To the left and below, an image of the Earth globe, with the European part highlighted, from which six slanted rays extend upwards and downwards. At the ends of these rays, along the rim, are twelve five-pointed stars. To the right of the Earth, the monogram 'LL' - the mark of engraver Luc Luycx.
Obverse
In the central part, a fragment of Ivan Grohar's painting 'The Sower', depicting thirteen fertility stars, used in the design along with dots. Along the edge of the coin are twelve five-pointed stars and, alternating with the stars, letters forming the country name Slovenia in Slovenian: 'SLOVENIJA'; on the left the mint year 2007, at the bottom the mint mark.
