Two rays emanate upward from the angel's head, between which is a twenty-four-pointed star. Above the angel's wings, on the right, is a fishing net, on the left — a shell tool. Below the wings: on the right — a canoe, on the left — coconut palms. Below the angel is an image of a traditional Marshallese navigational chart in perspective, beneath it the inscription on a ribbon 'Seal'. Below the outer chain, to the left of the disc, is the sign $10 — 'ten dollars', to the right — the year of minting '1991'.
