    In the central part there is a hole, around which a six-pointed Star of David is depicted. Below is the year of mintage, 1907. Along the upper edge of the coin from left to right is the inscription of the colony's name in English: BRITISH WEST AFRICA. The rim of the coin features decorative elements in the form of denticles.
  • Obverse
    Starting on the left, the text "EDWARD VII" runs along the edge, and on the right - "KING & EMPEROR". Translated from English: "EDWARD VII KING AND EMPEROR". At the top is depicted the Crown of the British Empire. In the central part is a hole, with an inscription around it for one-tenth of a penny: on the left, top, and right in English - "ONE TENTH OF A PENNY", and at the bottom in Arabic with diacritics: "عشر ثني". The rim of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
