In the central part, the numeral 1 within a wreath of leaves. Along the upper edge, the country name in English: 'BRITISH HONDURAS'. At the bottom along the rim, an inscription in English, framed by dots: 'ONE CENT 1951'. The edge of the coin is decorated with decorative denticles.
Obverse
In the central part, the right-facing profile of George VI, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. Below it, the letters 'PM' - the designer's mark of the London Mint. To the left of the rim, the English text: 'KING GEORGE', to the right: 'THE SIXTH'. Along the rim is a toothed relief pattern.
