    The central part features the die for minting the silver Guldiner of Archduke Sigismund from 1486. It depicts a rider on horseback with a spear, surrounded by the coats of arms of the Austrian lands. Along the upper edge of the coin is the German inscription '700 JAHRE STADT HALL IN TIROL' (700 Years of the City of Hall in Tyrol).
  • Obverse
    The upper part depicts a satellite. The lower part shows a section of the globe with a detailed map of the city of Hall. Above the map is the inscription '25 EURO', below it on the right is the designer's mark of Herbert Wähner 'H. Wähner'. On the left is a horizontal three-line inscription 'HALL IN TIROL' below the year of issue '2003'. On the right side, along the edge of the coin, is the country name in two lines 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria).
