In the central part, a mirror in which can be seen: on the left, the queen extending her hand with an apple; on the right, the princess reaching out to take it; below, dwarves are depicted (the 4th from the left holds a pickaxe, the 5th a lantern). Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in German: at the top 'SCHNEEWITTCHEN' (Snow White), at the bottom 'GRIMMS MÄRCHEN' (Grimm's Fairy Tale).
Obverse
In the center is a stylized state symbol of the Federal Republic of Germany: a heraldic eagle facing left with wings spread. To the left above the eagle's wing is the Latin letter 'J' - the mintmark of the Hamburg Mint. Along the rim are inscriptions in German: at the top the country name 'BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND' (FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY), at the bottom the year of issue '2013' and the inscription '10 EURO', with five five-pointed stars on the left and right.
