    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown. In its right talon, the eagle holds a sword and scepter, in its left an orb. On its breast is a crowned heraldic shield depicting the coats of arms of Lorraine and Tuscany, framed by a chain. Along the edge of the coin are Latin inscriptions in an arc: to the right and left 'IN∙TE∙DOMINE SPERAVI:1745' (In you, Lord, I have hoped: 1745). To the left of the eagle's tail feathers is the Latin letter 'I', to the right 'E'. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Francis I Stephen, Holy Roman Emperor and Duke of Lorraine, wearing a laurel wreath. Along the edge of the coin in an arc is the Latin text: left, top, and right 'FRANCISCUS∙D:G ROM∙IMPERATOR∙S∙A∙' (Francis, by the Grace of God, Holy Roman Emperor). In the truncation of the portrait are the Latin letters 'A∙S' - the mintmark of the Vienna Mint. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
