    Three five-pointed stars are depicted along the upper edge arc. In the central part, there is a three-line inscription in Ottoman Turkish: "ضرب في مصر", which translates to: "STRUCK IN EGYPT". Below is the year of accession of the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II in Indo-Arabic numerals: "١٢٩٣" - 1293 AH or 1876 AD. Above is the number: "٣۱" - "31", meaning the 31st year of reign or 1906 AD. Decorative raised denticles are placed along the rim edges.

    In the upper part, along the coin's edge arc, seven five-pointed stars are depicted. The central part features the tughra of the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II. Below is the inscription for 10 Qirsh in Ottoman Turkish: "ش ۱۰". To the left, below, and to the right along the rim are images of 2 rose bushes. Decorative raised denticles are placed along the rim edges.
