In the central part of the reverse, a relief image of a flamingo standing in water against the backdrop of the sun and a flock of similar birds. Below the waterline on the right is the abbreviation: 'PM', the mintmark of the Pobjoy Mint. Along the arc of the left edge of the coin is the inscription: '1 DOLLAR'. Along the arc of the right edge is the inscription: '1 доллар'.
Obverse
In the central part, a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, facing right. Below the truncation of the shoulder is 'IRB' - the monogram of engraver Ian Rank-Broadley. Along the arc of the left edge of the coin is the English text: 'BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS'. Along the arc of the right edge of the coin is the English inscription: 'QUEEN ELIZABETH II 2015'.
