Around the upper rim, the country name in English 'JAMAICA'. Below, the inscription 'TEN CENTS' and the year of minting '1995'. In the central part, the Great Seal of Jamaica: a Taino man and woman standing on either side of a shield bearing the cross of St. George and five pineapples. The shield is topped by a ducal helmet with a torse and a Jamaican crocodile facing left. The motto on the ribbon in English reads 'OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE'.
