    In the central part of the reverse, a relief design facing right: an athlete in mid-jump against a background of running tracks. To the right of the athlete, within a relief circle, is a stylized flame, below which is the name of the capital of the PRC in Pinyin and the year of minting 'BEIJING 2008'. Below the image, the English text 'BROAD JUMP' (Long Jump), and below that the year of minting '2008'. Along the edge of the inner disk is a rope-like pattern. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a stylized depiction of athletes from sixteen sports.

    In the central part, the 'East Gate' in Pyongyang is depicted. Along the edge of the inner disk is a rope-like pattern, alongside it (on the inner side) are inscriptions: at the top in Korean characters '조선민주주의인민공화국중앙은행' (Central Bank of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea), at the bottom in Latin letters '30 WON'. Along the rim is a stylized floral ornament.
