In the central part - the inscription '10 CENTAVOS' in Spanish in two lines. On the left arc of the coin's edge is depicted a feather. Decorative elements in the form of dentils are arranged around the circumference.
Obverse
In the central part is depicted a female profile facing right, representing Liberty. Below the neck truncation is the year of issue: '1951'. In the upper part, along the arc of the coin's edge, are inscriptions in Spanish: 'REPUBLICA PERUANA' - 'REPUBLIC OF PERU'. The edge of the coin features decorative raised dentils.
