The central part features a left-facing profile portrait of King George V. Around the edge is the inscription: 'GEORGIVS V DEI GRA:BRITT:OMNI:REX FID:DEF:IND:IMP:', which translates from English as 'George V, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains and Emperor of India, Defender of the Faith', along with decorative elements in the form of dots.
