All three crowns are connected by a ribbon. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). The shield is surrounded by the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. The coats of arms on the wings: Left wing: Polish, Taurida, Finnish. Right wing: Kazan, Astrakhan, Siberian. In the right talon is a scepter, below it the letter 'M'. In the left talon is an orb, below it the letter 'W'. Together, the letters indicate the Warsaw Mint. The coin's rim consists of denticles.
