Reverse
In the central part is the numeral 2, to its right is the outline of Europe, from which six vertical rays extend upwards and six downwards. Along the arc of the right edge, intersecting these rays, are twelve five-pointed stars. On Europe, an inscription in English: 'EURO'. To the right below the inscription is the monogram 'LL' - the mark of the engraver Luc Luycx.
Obverse
In the central part, within a circle of yellow metal, is depicted the coat of arms of the Malta Police. Above it, in a semicircle, is the text in English: '200 YEARS.MALTA POLICE FORCE', which translates to '200 Years of the Malta Police'. Below the coat of arms are the years 1814-2014. Along the edge of the coin are twelve five-pointed stars.
