Reverse
The reverse of the coin features, in the center, a fragment of the obverse of the 50 Tenge banknote, which bears the portrait of Abulkhair Khan. Around the circumference is the inscription "ӘБІЛҚАЙЫР ХАН" in Kazakh, the year of minting "2016", and graphic elements from the banknote.
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the center. The denomination "100 ТЕҢГЕ" is indicated at the bottom. In the left and right sectors, an element of the national ornament is mirrored. Around the circumference is the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" in the state language and "РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН" in Russian. The logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located at the top.
