In the center - 40 para in Ottoman script: "٤٠ پاره". Below - the accession year of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed V: "١٣٢٧" - 1327 AH (Islamic calendar) or 1909 AD. Decorative raised denticles are placed along the rim.
