Along the arc of the right edge, intersecting these rays, are twelve five-pointed stars. On Europe, the inscription in English: 'EURO'. Below the inscription to the right is the monogram 'LL' - the mark of engraver Luc Luycx.

    In the central part, within a yellow-colored circle, is a design resembling an ancient coin, featuring a stick-figure drawn by a child's hand holding the Euro symbol. Below the Euro symbol is the monogram of engraver Georges Stamatopoulos. At the top of the coin, the name of the state Slovenia is inscribed in a semicircle in Slovenian: 'SLOVENIJA'. At the bottom, in a semicircle, is the inscription in Slovenian: 'EMU' and the years 1999-2009. Around the edge of the coin are twelve five-pointed stars.
