    In the upper part, following the curve of the coin's edge, is the Spanish text: 'BOGOTA' - indicating the Bogota mint. In the central part, an inscription in Spanish: 'UN DECIMO' - one decimo, surrounded by a laurel wreath intertwined with ribbons. On both sides are symbols of the god of trade, Apollo: a caduceus (staff with wings, entwined by two snakes). Along the curve of the lower edge is the silver fineness indication: 'LEI 0,900'. The coin's edge features a decorative element in the form of denticles.
  • Obverse
    On the left, top, and right is the Spanish inscription: 'CONFEDERACION GRANADINA', which translates to 'Granadine Confederation'. In the central part is a stylized depiction of an open pomegranate fruit on a branch. On either side, crossing at the top, are cornucopias. In the lower part, along the curve of the edge, is the mint year - 1859, separated from the inscription by dots. The coin's edge features a decorative element in the form of denticles.
