Along the left arc of the coin's edge is an olive branch, and on the right, an oak branch; they intersect in the center and are tied with a bow. Decorative raised denticles are placed along the rim edges.

The central part contains a three-line inscription in Persian: "شاه قاجار ناصر الدين السلطان" - "NASER AD-DIN SHAH QAJAR SULTAN". An olive branch is depicted on the left, and an oak branch on the right. Decorative raised denticles are placed along the rim edges.
