Reverse
In the central part, a double-headed eagle, its heads crowned with two crowns, a third, larger crown above them. On the eagle's breast, the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland under a royal crown and canopy. In the eagle's right talon – a scepter and sword, in the left – an orb. Under the right talon – the initial 'I•', under the left – the initial 'B•'. Mintmaster initials of Jacub Benik (Yakov Benik). Above the eagle's heads – the issue date '1817', divided by the large crown. Around the eagle, a circular inscription: '5 ZŁOTYCH POLSKICH 17 211/625 Z GRZ• CZ• KOL•'.
Obverse
In the central part, the right-facing profile of Emperor Alexander I. Around the portrait, a circular inscription: 'ALEXANDER I CESARZ SA• W• ROS• KRÓL POLSKI' (Alexander I Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia, King of Poland). Divided, above the emperor's head, by a six-pointed rosette.
