On the eagle's breast, the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland under a royal crown and canopy. In the eagle's right talon – a scepter and sword, in the left – an orb. Under the right talon – the initial 'I•', under the left – the initial 'B•'. Mintmaster initials of Jacub Benik (Yakov Benik). Above the eagle's heads – the issue date '1817', divided by the large crown. Around the eagle, a circular inscription: '5 ZŁOTYCH POLSKICH 17 211/625 Z GRZ• CZ• KOL•'.
