Reverse
The central part features the organ of the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. Below the image is the metal fineness inscription '1 UNZE FEINSILBER' (1 ounce of fine silver), and below that the year of mintage '2012'. Along the edge of the coin, the text arcs: at the top the country name 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria), at the bottom the inscription '1,50 EURO' (1.50 Euro). All inscriptions are in German.
Obverse
In the upper part, along the edge of the coin, the German text 'WIENER PHILHARMONIKER' (Vienna Philharmonic) arcs, below it – 'SILBER' (silver). Depicted are musical instruments: a cello in the center, with a viola and a violin on either side (their necks inclined towards the center), a bassoon and a French horn on the upper left, and a harp on the upper right.
