On the facade of the pedestal is the number 20, to its left a laurel branch, to the right a palm branch. Along the arc of the left and right edge of the coin is a Latin inscription 'ARCHID∙AUST∙DUX∙BURG∙&∙STYR∙1759∙' (Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy and Styria 1759). On both sides of the portrait are semicircular branches: on the left palm, on the right laurel. The branches are tied at the bottom with a ribbon forming a bow. Along the rim, split into two parts, is the inscription 'Maria Theresa by the Grace of God Roman Empress, Queen of Germany, Hungary and Bohemia' in Latin: on the left 'M∙THERESIA∙D:G∙R:', on the right 'IMP∙GER∙HU∙BO∙REG∙'. The rim features decorative raised denticles.
