In the truncation of the neck is the letter 'IRB' - the mintmark of the Royal Mint artist Ian Rank-Broadley. Below it is the year of issue: 2008. To the left along the rim is the country name in English: 'CAYMAN ISLANDS', to the right is the inscription - 'ELIZABETH II'.
