  • Reverse
The center of the reverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle, both heads of which bear crowns. A third, larger crown is above and between them. All three crowns are connected by a ribbon. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the left). A chain bearing the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called encircles the shield. The coats of arms on the wings (four on each wing): Kazan, Polish, Taurida, Astrakhan, Siberian, Georgian, Kiev and Novgorod, Vladimir. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left an orb. The State Emblem is enclosed within a beaded circle. Outside the circle, along the rim, the text: 1/3 IMPERIAL│10 RUSOV│1895 GODA is divided into three parts by three floral rosettes. The edge is decorated with denticles.
  • Obverse
In the central part is the left-facing profile of Emperor Nicholas II. To the left is the inscription: B.M. NIKOLAY II IMPERATOR. To the right is the continuation of the first inscription: I SAMODERZHETS VSEROSS. The edge is decorated with short denticles.
