    The coin's border is in the shape of a rhombus with 12 facets. Inside the rhombus, along its lower circumference, are wheat ears. In the central part of the circle, text in 4 lines: '500', below 'RUBLEI' (RUBLES), below a stylized logo of the Leningrad Mint (LMD) under which is the year of minting '1995'.
  • Obverse
    The coin's border is in the shape of a rhombus with 12 facets. Inside the rhombus, in its upper part, is the inscription 'PYAT'SOT RUBLEI' (FIVE HUNDRED RUBLES), in the lower part 'BANK ROSSII' (BANK OF RUSSIA). The inscriptions are separated on both sides by an ornament in the form of a grid. In the central part of the obverse is an image of the Bank of Russia logo, a double-headed eagle.
