Reverse
In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the Taikazan cauldron, above it a stylized depiction of the sun framed by inscriptions arranged in a circle: in Kazakh «ДАЛА ҚАЗЫНАСЫ · ТАЙҚАЗАН» and in English — «TREASURES OF THE STEPPE · TAIKAZAN», which translate as «TREASURES OF THE STEPPE · TAIKAZAN». The entire composition is enclosed within a stylized quadrilateral formed by national ornaments.
Obverse
In the central part is an image of the coat of arms of Kazakhstan framed by inscriptions: at the top «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» in Kazakh, at the bottom «NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN» — in English, translating to «NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN». Above the coat of arms is the mint year «2014». Below the coat of arms is the inscription «50 ТЕҢГЕ», to its left — the mintmark of the Kazakhstan Mint, to its right — the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The entire composition is enclosed within a stylized quadrilateral formed by national ornaments.
