In the central part is a dove of peace. To its left and right are the national floral symbols of South Korea, the hibiscus, and of Australia, the golden wattle. Below the image is the mint mark of the Canberra Mint - "C".

Below the neck truncation are the incused letters "IRB", denoting the initials of the designer: Ian Rank-Broadley.
