    Along the rim are inscriptions in English: at the top - "KOREAN WAR", at the bottom - "ONE DOLLAR"; as well as dates: on the left, the year the war ended - 1953, on the right - the year of minting - 2003. In the central part is a dove of peace. To its left and right are the national floral symbols of South Korea, the hibiscus, and of Australia, the golden wattle. Below the image is the mint mark of the Canberra Mint - "C".

    In the central part is a right-facing profile of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom. Below the neck truncation are the incused letters "IRB", denoting the initials of the designer: Ian Rank-Broadley. Along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left - "ELIZABETH II", on the right - the year of minting and the country name in English: "AUSTRALIA 2003".
