The lower right field shows a frigate bird on a T-shaped perch facing left. The lower left field shows a flowering branch of a Calophyllum tree. The shield is surrounded by decoration of woven palm ropes and frigate bird feathers. The ribbon at the bottom bears the national motto in English 'GOD'S WILL FIRST'.
